About us

The Business Network "Automation-Industry 4.0" consists of twelve small and medium enterprises that have decided to join forces, signing a particular Network Contract.

The decision was made based on the experience and significant results achieved in previous initiatives and activities, developed and implemented by the Ligurian Technological District on Integrated Intelligent Systems, which acts as the Network’s promoter .

Representation methods related to the automation of innovative design/production processes (macro/micro/nano), advanced support to design and validation, simulation/modelling, "real-time" issues, easy technological upgrades, scalability, interoperability, supervision, control and maintenance, human-machine interactions, reconfigurability, AI and decision support techniques, online "intelligent" diagnostics, etc.
